Elior Group

Elior Group is a France-based multinational contract catering and multiservices operator, one of the world's largest, serving business & industry, education, healthcare and concession (travel/leisure) markets. Following its April 2023 alliance with Derichebourg Multiservices, it generated roughly €6 billion in revenue with ~133,000 employees, serving ~3.2 million meals/day across ~20,200 restaurants and points of sale in eleven countries (Europe, North America, India). For AGD, the operationally relevant asset is not the dispersed point-of-sale restaurants but its central-kitchen ('cuisine centrale') production network — ~42 central kitchens in France producing cook-chill (liaison froide) meals at industrial scale (single sites at 25,000-35,000 meals/day), where food prep, portioning, slicing and packaging happen in a factory-like environment. Its publicly visible robotics activity to date is service/logistics automation (autonomous campus delivery robots) and digital/AI transformation, not contact-rich manipulation.
