Kellanova

Kellanova (NYSE/formerly K) is a multinational snacks-led food manufacturer spun off from the Kellogg Company in October 2023 and acquired by Mars Inc. for nearly $30B (deal completed December 2025); it is corporately headquartered in Chicago, IL with a dual campus in Battle Creek, MI, ~24,000 employees, and roughly $13B in 2024 net sales. Its portfolio is dominated by global snack brands (Pringles, Cheez-It, Pop-Tarts, RXBAR, Rice Krispies Treats, Club, Town House, Carr's), plus international cereal and noodles (Corn Flakes, All-Bran, Rice Krispies, Kellogg's Instant Noodles) and North American frozen/plant-based foods (Eggo, MorningStar Farms). Manufacturing is global and capacity-driven: it has been pouring capital into new and expanded plants (a new ~$200M Pringles plant in Chonburi, Thailand; a new Pringles plant in Queretaro, Mexico as part of $660M cumulative Mexico investment 2023-2025; ~$61M into the Sao Lourenco, Brazil snacks/cereal site), and runs the sole North American Pringles plant in Jackson, TN. From an AGD standpoint this is a high-speed, high-volume process-food operation: most of its automation need is throughput, packaging, and line tending rather than contact-rich dexterous assembly, so it is a forgiving but largely out-of-scope vertical with only a thin layer of genuinely feel-dependent fragile-food handling.
